Believe it or not, there are a number of great things the ‘box’ brings to the table. The packaging is lighter than glass and the ‘tap’ doesn’t let air back into the wine so it will still taste fresh 30 days after you crack it.  The only real problem with most box wines is what’s inside the box. Bring on the Sant’ Evasio Cortese! Bright, fresh and easygoing with delicate notes of apple and white flowers, it is everything that most box wines wish they were; tasty, clean and eminently quaffable.  At a cost equaling $5 a bottle, we dare you to make this last a month.
