Dominic Gober and Gerald Freinbicher met while working for Franz Weninger. The duo now work vineyard parcels in Neckenmarkt, in southern Burgenland (near Moric). They aim to create energetic wines that show the seriousness of Austrian terroir with a light modern touch. ‘Chill!’ does just that. You may notice their name from their well renowned ‘Vineyard Projects’ label. This wine is juicy and bouyant at just 11.5% abv. but has serious structure. Tart red fruit is the primary quality of this wine but with tons of savory and herbaceous aromatics as well. It is the best of both worlds: serious & a fun banger of a wine.
