After decades of being overshadowed by other French regions, Alsace is ready for its star turn. Situated on the border of France and Germany, its food, history, and culture are a unique blend of the two country’s influences. The Josmeyer ‘Fleur de Lotus’ showcases some of the region’s more aromatic grapes, creating an assertive gardenia & magnolia aroma to accompany the ripe pineapple and mango fruit palate. It’s ideal for the porch this spring straight out of the fridge or as partner to a seafood dinner course.

What do I like to drink? 

While I fell in love with wine in California, I’m a Francophile at heart – Burgundy, Champagne, Rhone, and Loire account for the majority of my personal drinking. I love balanced wines with layers of flavor, and wines that pair with a wide variety of food. I probably have the most traditional palate on the team, and I’m okay with that.
